eu-citizen.science

You don’t have to be a professor to contribute to scientific research.

Contributing to scientific research as a regular citizen? Citizen science is on the rise. When scientists and citizens collaborate, a more inclusive, transparent and broad field of research is created. This way, big data sets can be collected in a fast and efficient way, which in turn gives way to social consensus and policy change.

We created the branding for eu-citizen.science; the new citizen science hub in the European Union. Dozens of universities, natural history museums, and other institutions will conduct research with citizens from across 14 European member states. The research crosses borders – literally, between countries – but also between disciplines, sectors, and governments. We designed a visual identity that unites stakeholders, whilst making the sharing of multifaceted knowledge possible and more streamlined.

You don’t have to be a professor to contribute to scientific research. As a matter of fact, you are of great value as a citizen.
